Ginger Lowery Obituary

Ginger Sauls Lowery September 12, 1957- April 26, 2005 SMITHS STATION, AL— Ginger Sauls Lowery, 47, a native of Phenix City and longtime resident of Smiths Station, died on Tuesday, April 26 at her home. Funeral services are scheduled at Vance Memorial Chapel, 3738 Hwy 431N, Phenix City, for Saturday, April 30 at 11 a.m. EDT with the Rev. Richard Collins and the Rev. Watson McKemie officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 to 9 p.m. EDT. Mrs. Lowery graduated high school from Glenwood School in 1975. After high school she graduated from Auburn University in 1979. She was employed as an accountant for Griggs, Inc., a former longtime employee of Hemker and Gentry, CPA. She was also a member of Evangel Temple Church in Columbus and the Walking with Christ Sunday School Class. Mrs. Lowery was a longtime member of the Board of Directors for the Doris Weaver Girls Club. Mrs. Lowery was born on Sept. 12, 1957 in Columbus, daughter of Jean Wood Sauls of Columbus and the late Marvin H. Sauls, Sr. Other than her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Taylor Elizabeth Lowery of Smiths Station; one sister, Kristi Perdue and her husband Will of Lilburn, Ga.; one brother, Marvin H. Sauls, Jr., and his wife Diann of Phenix City; one niece, Leslie Sauls of Phenix City; two nephews, William Perdue of Lilburn, Ga., and Brandon Sauls of Phenix City; other relatives and friends.

Jean,Kristi, Marvin, Taylor and family. We were so sorry to learn of Ginger's passing. We pray for HIS strength to sustain you in the days ahead. I am truly going to miss Ginger. She was my Friend. We shared many fun times together. We would often meet so the girls could play together while we would just sit and talk for hours. Ginger was a good person and a great MOTHER. She will always be remembered.
