Grover Cleveland Mitchell, Sr. November 15, 1936 - June 22, 2004 PINE MOUNTAIN, GA - Grover Cleveland Mitchell Sr., 67, of Pine Mountain, died Tuesday, June 22 at his home. Graveside services will be held 4 p.m. Friday, June 25 at Hamilton Cemetery, according to Cox Funeral Home, Hamilton, Ga. Visitation is tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Mitchell was born Nov. 15, 1936 in Columbus, the son of Georgia Mary Mitchell and Sam Mitchell. He was a retired Iron Worker with the Iron Workers Union Local 387 in Atlanta. Survivors include his wife, Judy Mitchell of Pine Mountain; a son, Grover C. Mitchell Jr., of Columbus; three daughters, Cathy Mitchell Norris of Waverly Hall, Ga., Rhonda Roughton of Columbus and Ann Dean of Fortson, Ga.; two sisters, Grace Guthrie of Columbus and Vera Williams of Ladonia, Ala.; a brother, Sammy Mitchell of Phenix City; and four grandchildren, Ginger Roughton, Megan Cantrell, Cody Norris and Cory Norris.
