Harry Stonewall Jackson

Columbus, Georgia - Harry Stonewall Jackson died on December 27, 2024, at his residence. Harry was born to Harry Cook Jackson and Helen Lovein Jackson on December 27, 1950, at The Medical Center in Columbus, GA. Harry had been a resident at the Woods Schools in Langhorne, PA, and at The Baddour Center in Senatobia, MS. Since 1999 he had been a full-time resident in the home of Julia and Sylvester Wagenti.

Harry was predeceased by his parents, his brother-in-law Charles William Burgin, and Sylvester Wagenti. He is survived by his sister, Helen Jackson Burgin, and his nephew and nieces William Jackson Burgin and his wife Elizabeth Robinson Burgin, Helen Burgin Kilgore and her husband Eric Channing Kilgore, and Merritt Burgin Pryor and her husband West Wilcox Pryor. He also is survived by his great nephews and nieces William Augustus Burgin, Alexander Wilds Burgin, James Burgin Kilgore, Emmie Jackson Kilgore, Helena West Pryor, and Catherine Wilcox Pryor. Additionally, cousins and his dear friend Julia Wagenti survive him.

Funeral services were held at The River of Columbus Church on December 31, 2024, with Pastor Mike Childs and Pastor Sam Coley officiating. Private interment followed in Parkhill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Wesley Glen Ministries, 4580 N. Mumford Rd., Macon, GA 31210.
