Columbus, GA- Helen Louise Clayton Baldwin, 86, of Columbus passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011. She was born June 7, 1925 to the late John Clayton and Helen May Clayton.
Funeral services for Mrs. Baldwin will be 1:00pm, Monday, November 14, 2011 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus with Reverend John C. Boyer officiating.
Other than her parents Mrs. Baldwin was preceded in death by her husband Ross O. Baldwin, Jr. She was a graduate of The Alabama College for Women. A member of Morningside Presbyterian Church and was involved with the United Methodist Women's group.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Baldwin Hale and Janie Warner Baldwin and her husband, Willis L. Carter, two grandchildren, Hugh F. Hale, III and his wife, Laura, Anna Clayton Windham and her husband, Taylor, four great-grandchildren, John Ross and David Hale, William and Clayton Windham.
Special thanks to Dr. Y Patiel and Angie for their dedication throughout the years.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Morningside Presbyterian Church 4142 Weems Road Columbus, GA. 31909 or a charity of your choice in memory of Helen Louise Clayton Baldwin.
