Columbus, GA- Rev. James C. Alfred, Jr., 52, of 256 23rd Avenue, Columbus, GA died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in Hurtsboro, AL.
Funeral service will be 12 noon EST, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church, Pittsview, AL with Rev. Cordarius Cowells, pastor and Pastor Viola Clay, offficiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Rev. Alfred was born February 23, 1965 in Ft. Myers, FL to Ann Lee Jackson and James C. Fears, Sr. He had served in the U.S. Navy; he was a self employed construction worker and was an ordained minister.
Survivors include his mother, Ann Lee (Albert) Jackson, Rochester, NY; father, James C. Alfred, Sr., Ft. Myers, FL; two daughters, Jamiese Alfred and Jasmine Aflred both of Columbus, GA; seven sisters, Teresa Alfred-Capers, Columbus, GA; Loretta Jackson, Rochester, NY; Pamela (Lester) Denson, Ft. Myers, FL; Debra Alfred-Williams, Gainesville, FL; Katina Alfred, Columbus, GA; Jaime (Alto) Tarver, Cape Coral, FL; Mechelle (Lavar) Sanders, Rochester, NY; four brothers, Aaron Alfred, Allen, TX; Clarence Jackson and Albert Jackson both of Rochester, NY and Anthony Alfred, Ft.
