Ft. Mitchell, AL- Miss Jana Iman Hobbs, 16, of 35 Seminole Trail, Ft. Mitchell, AL passed Monday, March 17, 2014 at Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Macedonia Christian Ministries with Pastor James Allen, officiating. Interment will follow in Clark Cemetery, Caldwell, AR according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Miss Hobbs was born April 27, 1997 in Ft. Hood, TX to Tony Hobbs and Deborah Tousant Hobbs both of Ft. Mitchell, AL. She was a junior at Russell County High School, managed the Lady Warrior's Basketball Team, worked at the Carmike Wynnsong 10, Ft. Benning, GA and was recently hired at K-Mart, Phenix City, AL.
Survivors other than her parents include two brothers, Tony Hobbs, Jr. and Quintin Hobbs both of Ft. Mitchell, AL; paternal grandmother, Geneva Hobbs of Little Rock, AR; maternal grandparents, Malvin Tousant and Alice Tousant both of Forrest City, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.

You have my deepest condolences no parent should ever have to go through this. Her service was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. She was an angel sent from heaven to bless peoples lives. She touched my daughters and they were good friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

To the family; may God keep you strong and hold you ever so close as a family. As a parent we may say gone to soon. But know that God doesn't make mistakes. I'm so glad that I got to know such an Angle as Jana. But most of all I'm so glad that Jaquell knew what it was like to have one as a best BFF. I met you at the Earthfare market in Auburn and I got a chance to meet your daughter briefly at the mall. She was and still is a beautful girl who is now an Angel who will watch over your family forever. There are no words to express the sadness I feel for you and your family and as a mother who has lost children, my heart and prayers go out to you. You were such a pleasant and sweet person. You always had a beautiful smile on your face whenever id see you. The halls of RC wont be the same without you and that signature bounce you had in your walk lol. Its sad that youre gone but we know youre in a better place. Fly high and rest easy babygirl.
