Jason Alden Lanier January 13, 1986- August 19, 2007 PHENIX CITY, AL— Jason Alden Lanier, 21, of Phenix City, AL. passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2007 in Phenix City, AL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 2 p.m. EDT at Vance Memorial Chapel, 3738 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL. with interment following at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The Rev. Ricky Ward will officiate the service. The family will receive friends this evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Jason was born January 13, 1986 in Columbus, GA., son of Johnny Allen Lanier Jr. and Cathy Hutcherson Lanier. He worked as an installer for Precision Floor Covering. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was a well known baseball and football player. He is survived by his father, Johnny Allen Lanier Jr. of Phenix City, AL.; his mother, Cathy Lanier of Richmond Hill, GA.; stepfather, J.T. Turner of Richmond Hill, GA.; step mother, Liz Boyette of Phenix City, AL.; sister, Katie Lanier of Pensacola, FL.; brothers, Johnathan Cody Lanier, Joshua Shaun Lanier, both of Richmond Hill, GA.; step sister, Brittany Turner, Richmond Hill, GA.; step brother, Casey Turner of Richmond Hill, GA.; grandmothers, Evalene Hutcherson of Phenix City, AL. and Mary Eckert of Salem, AL.; aunts and uncles, Ronald and Becky Hutcherson, Wayne and Linda Hutcherson, Randy and Lisa McEwen, Julie Eckert and Ronald Vandamm, Phyllis and Robert Bowman, Laura Hunt; twelve loving cousins; numerous loving family members.
