Columbus, Georgia - Mrs. Jennie Lou Harper was born August 5, 1937 in Juniper, GA daughter of the late Dan and Willie Emma Persons Hollis. She departed this life Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Columbus Hospice House, Columbus, GA. Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her husband, Zackie R. Harper. Graveside services will be 11:00AM Monday, August 22, 2022, Green Acres Cemetery, 1485 Schatulga Road, Columbus with Reverend Alfred Bunkley, officiating. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Mrs. Jennie leaves to cherish her legacy and memory her daughter, Sharon Denice Short, Columbus, GA; a bonus son, LeRoyal(Yvonne)Harper; a bonus daughter, Mary Jean Lundy all of Columbus, Georgia and a host nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and many dear friends.
