Columbus, GA- Jewel Henry Lovell, 77, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Wilhite officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Lovell was born May 15, 1935 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late George Albert Henry and Susan Sheffield Henry. She was the owner of Henry's Hotdogs and BBQ and a Baptist by faith.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby R. Lovell.
Survivors include daughter, Karol Lovell, son, David Lovell, sister, Opal Williams (Dozier), grandchildren, Brook Osborn and Daniel Crisp all of Columbus, GA, four great grandchildren, and nephew, Jason Lovell (Susan) of Midland, GA.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Calvary Baptist Church 7995 Old Moon Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
