LaGrange, GA- John D. Durham 67, of LaGrange, GA passed Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange, GA. Celebration of life services will be 12:00PM Friday, June 9, 2017 in the Chapel at Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 1605 3rd Avenue, Columbus, GA. Interment will follow at Ft Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft Mitchell, AL with military honors. Mr. Durham was born December 20, 1949 in Cataula, GA son of the late William and Johnnie Bell Johnson Durham, Sr. He was a United States Army and Marine Veteran and admired by all who knew him. John leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sharon Murphy Durham, Auburn, AL; son, Ka'Leall K. Durham; two brothers, George Durham, LaGrange, GA and Jeffery(Teresa)Durham, Cataula, GA; three sisters, Brenda Durham, Eula(Ben)Duncan, Columbus, GA and Lyra(Deva)Kissun, LaGrange, GA; granddaughter, Katrina Holmes; several nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
