Johnnie Lee Chambers July 28, 1951 - July 27, 2009 COLUMBUS, GA— Mr. Johnnie Lee Chambers, age 57 of 545-5th Ave. Apt. 505-G, Columbus, GA 31901, passed Monday, July 27, 2009 at Columbus Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 1, 2009 2:00 p.m. EST at Providence Baptist Church in Seale (Lato), AL. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be today, July 31, 2009 from 1:00-8:00 p.m., according to Taylor Funeral Home. Mr. Chambers was born July 28, 1951 in Russell County, AL to the late Beatrice Johnson Chambers and Sonny L. Chambers. He was a textile worker. Survivors include his brothers: Mango (Annie) Dickerson of Pensacola, FL, Rev. Charles (Rose) Jackson, Bobby Chambers, both of Columbus, GA, Rev. Willie Lee (Rose) Chambers and Joe (Minnie Pearl) Mathis, both of Phenix City, AL, Angelo Chambers of Warren, MI and Obery Chambers of Springville, AL; sisters, Annie Mae Mathis, Ethel Pressley, both of Phenix City, AL, Rheutelia Reed, Rev. Shirley Burnett-Dean (Lucius), Patricia (Ananias) McMeans, Minister Carol (James) Colman, all of Pensacola, FL, Sondra (Arthur) Benson of Georgiana, AL; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
