Phenix City, AL- Mrs.Juanita Lee Shorts, 57, of Phenix City, AL passed Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Perfecting Love Ministries, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Wayne Black, eulogist; Pastor Princess Black, officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 12 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mrs. Shorts was born February 11, 1961 in Phenix City, AL to the late Lewis Richardson and the late Catha Richardson. She was a 1979 graduate of Central High School and a Front Desk Manager at Super 8 Motel.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Shorts of Phenix City, AL; her children, LaKeitha (Percy) Norfleet, Deondra (Lakeisha) Richardson, Catha Shorts and Jamal Shorts all of Phenix City, AL, one sister, Carrie Thomas of Phenix City, AL; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

My Grandma was an amazing woman and she was the one that got me wanted to do hair because I use to watch her do my sister hair all the time and I was like I want to do what she doing so I started to practice doing hair at an young age. My grandma was an hardworking woman. I miss my grandma and I love her so much. Rest in peace
