R.I.P old friend. Truly sorry that I wasn't there at the end. I've been thinking of all our old adventures with a smile on my face.

My sister, Lola Jenkins Lager, went to school with Kent. They were friends. Lola was born November 27, 1947, and died December 26, 2014. I knew that she was the same age as Kent, but didn't realize their birthdays were so close together. She had suffered from ovarian cancer for 3 1/2 years and endured valiantly. I know that Kent was a fine man. I know that death is not the end, but just the beginning. I don't think of them as dead, they have just gone somewhere else to live for now. It is fun to think that they might have seen each other and reunited their friendship since dying so closely together.

Blane Roskelley posted Kent's obituary on the Sky View 66 website. I was immediately deeply saddened. I went to elementary, Jr. High, and high school with Kent. He was friendly and kind to everyone in our classes. I also enjoyed having him in class with me. Best wishes to all of you who are left behind. My husband has advanced Parkinson's Disease and is now on hospice. All of life's experiences teach great lessons. Blessings to you.
