Columbus, GA- Lester Leroy "Shorty" Littlefield Jr. Born June 7, 1935 died August 5, 2015. Les was preceded in death by his Wife, Faye B. Littlefield. Sister, Irene "Tillie" Scarborough, and his Mother and Father Ethel L. and Lester L. Littlefield Sr. Survived by his Daughter, Starla L. and John C. Mandeville of Phenix City, AL. Brother, Everett and Verna Littlefield of Block Island, Rhode Island. Step-daughter Joann and Jim Keenan of Ormond Beach, FL. Grandson, Jon Windom of Ormond Beach, FL. Also Two Granddaughters, Shannon L. Hood and Sarah F. Baker. And three Great Granddaughters, Allison, Shandi, Marcina.
Les was born and raised on Block Island, Rhode Island. He joined the U.S. Army After high school. He was stationed at Fort Benning GA, where he met his wife of 51 years Faye. He also worked for Westinghouse Electric Supply Company as an Inside Sales Associate for over 30 years. And a Member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. Memorial service to be held at Columbus Hospice, 7020 Moon Road Columbus GA in the Community room, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 4:00PM.
In place of flowers, please make donations to Columbus Hospice or St Luke UMC in Lester's Memory.
