Phenix City, AL- Margaret June Kohlhase, 90, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 surrounded by her family.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Philadelphia Baptist Church and she will then be laid to rest with her husband at the church cemetery.
Margaret was born in Pleasantville, PA on April 23, 1928 to the late George Irvin Westley and Ada Pearl Kline Westley. She was a longtime member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and enjoyed the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Joseph Kohlhase; siblings, Jack Westley, Armond Westley, Thelma Sittler, Laverne Sittler, Hilda Knetz, Frank Westley, Ada Eckman, Venona Miller and George Kenneth Westley.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Albert Kohlhase and wife Paulette of Smith Station, AL and Brian Joseph Kohlhase of Phenix City, AL; 4 grandchildren, Jason, Brianna, Donna and John; 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many caring friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Philadelphia Baptist Church Library fund.
