I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Mike. We played a lot of tournament softball together back during the 70's & 80's here in Columbus. Mike was not only an outstanding player but also a super guy who greeted everyone with a smile. He loved his family and will be truly missed by all who knew him.

I first met Mike on a test drive at Milton Chevy. As we were driving along I found out he knew my big brother and had played church league softball with him in the 80's and that he was from Columbus, Ga. I had lived across the river in Phenix City, Al. We had an instant connection. Mike sold my family cars for years and always made himself available to us. We last saw him last year when he sold my son his first car. What a dear man and how we will miss him. Even though we only saw him once every couple of years, he was like family to us. Prayers for his family and friends. Rest well Mike. You will be missed.

Thanksgiving will never be the same at the Noell household. This was one of the few days we were able to see Michael each year. You will be missed dearly Michael. I was thinking yesterday about how many pitches you must of thrown me in my life when I played Babe Ruth Baseball. RIP big brother.
