Miriam Morrison Witt May 14, 1914 - April 18, 2010 COLUMBUS,GA— Miriam Morrison Witt, 95, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at her residence. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Riverdale Cemetery. Rabbi Jeff Salkin will officiate according to Striffler Ð Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road. Active pallbearers will be Jacob Beil, Donald Benator, Jeff Howard, Lee Witt, Mark Sassower and Sidney Kaminsky. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Faircloth, Jim Overstreet and Steve Wisebram. Mrs. Witt was born May 14, 1914 in Bartlesville, OK the daughter of the late Lee Morrison and the late Irma Model Morrison. She had lived in Columbus for the past sixty four years and was a homemaker.Mrs. Witt was a member of Shearith Israel Synagogue, Hadassah, and the Sisterhood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Witt. Survivors include her two sons, Don Witt and his wife, Toby, and Mickey Witt and his wife, Kay; six grandchildren, Holly Witt, Marcy Conen, Lee Witt and his wife, Deanna, Nancy Sassower and her husband, Mark, Michelle Faircloth and her husband, Rodney, and Kimberly Overstreet and her husband, Jim; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Morrison; brother-in-law, Bernard Witt and his wife, Sylvia.
