Paul Pass Sr. July 10, 1928- February 15, 2007 PHENIX CITY, AL— Deacon Paul Pass Sr., 78, of 1506 Jackson Drive, Phenix City, AL. died February 15, 2007 at the Medical Center. Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Franchise Missionary Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL. with Dr. Raymond Cochran, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, AL. Visitation will be today from 1 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, according to Taylor Funeral Home. Deacon Pass was born July 10, 1928 in Columbus, GA., son of the late Lizzie Pass. He worked in Civil Service for 22 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Franchise Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was on the kitchen committee. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Pass; one son, Paul (Terri) Pass, Jr., Ft. Benning, GA.; one daughter, Katrenia Amey, Phenix City, AL.; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Mae Phillips, Phenix City, AL., Mrs. Josephine Jenkins, Columbus, GA. and Mrs. Vera Harris, Detroit, MI.; five grandchildren, Daryl D. Cook, Jacory D. McGruder, Darryl L. Fields, Jr., Katoya S. Fields, Ayanna D. Pass; one great granddaughter, Dykeria S. Fields; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Johnston, Dr. Rajendvan Alappan, Dr. Welch, the staff of Davita-Phenix City Dialysis Center, Mrs. Patti Sander and Mr. Larry Owens from the 7th floor ICU and the Trauma Night Staff of the Medical Center.
