Columbus, GA- Philip R. Berlinicke, 72, of Columbus, GA died Monday, June 27, 2016 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Pastor Judy Hay officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Berlinicke was born November 15, 1943 in Baltimore, MD son of the late Frank and Gwendolyn Nunnelly Berlinicke. He worked as a Project Manager for TSYS. He loved playing golf and was able to play at St. Andrews and Carnoustie in Scotland. Mr. Berlinicke also loved to travel, loved the ocean, reading golf books, and he loved 50's and 60's music.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Elkins, brother-in-law, George Elkins, and sister-in-law, Judy Berlinicke.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sandrock Berlinicke of Columbus, GA, children, Jeff Berlinicke of Tampa, FL, Stuart Berlinicke (Cindy) of Baltimore, MD, Beth Kennedy (Kevin) of Lutherville, MD, Stephanie Dubbs (Michael) of Beaverton, MI and David Berlinicke of Alachua, FL, grandchildren, Sara King, Rachel King, Ryan Kennedy, Cameron Berlinicke, Annika Berlinicke and Caroline Berlinicke, brother, Frank John Berlinicke of Cox's Creek, KY, and numerous nieces and nephews.
