Columbus, GA- Ms. Pinkey Lou Sanks, 83, of 4706 Acorn Street, Columbus, GA died Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Gentiva Hospice.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, April 6, 2017 at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Rev. J. C. Fryer, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Columbus, GA. Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2017 from 1 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Ms. Sanks was born April 11, 1934 in Russell County, AL to the late Blanchard Sanks and the late Emma Lee Bailey Sanks. She was a member of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, George Sanks, David Sanks and Jamie (Chenita) Sanks all of Columbus, GA; four daughters, Barbara Holloway, Christer Sanks, Delphine Sanks all of Columbis, GA and Vernell Sanks of Stone Mountain, GA; two sisters, Polly (James) Dixon and Mary (Tommy) Dixon both of Ft. Mitchell, AL; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
