Columbus, GA- Becky Fewell was sent to be with the Lord on July 18, 2018. She was born on December 24,1938 in Roanoke, VA to James and Grace (nee Keen) Boitnott of Boones Mill, VA.
Becky was a graduate of Franklin County High School and received her bachelors from Virginia Commonwealth University and masters in Education from Troy State University. Virginia governor John Dalton appointed Becky to the VCU Board of Visitors. Becky and Jimmy Fewell were married on May 7, 1960. Becky was an educator for 50 years. She was active with the Republican Party and was a delegate to the national convention. She was active in volunteer work and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
She is survived by: husband Jimmy Fewell; daughter Kay Fewell Wilkerson (Mark); son Steven Fewell; sisters Joyce Tice (George) and Sue Plymale.
Visitation will be held at McMullen Funeral Home, Columbus, Georgia on July 23 between 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Ellerslie, GA, July 24 at 1:00 pm followed by burial at Ft. Mitchell National Military Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL.

I remember Becky as being willing to do almost anything. We had fun when we got together. We enjoyed tha activities in the Republican Party.. my love to Jimmie and Kay and Steve.. I am so sorry to lose her.
