When Richard taught the Georgia Master Gardener course for the local County Extension Office, I was one of his students. I learned so much in that course and felt fortunate that he taught it at that time. He was an excellent teacher, so knowledgeable, and also made the course fun.

I send sincere condolences to his family for their loss. This community and state will both miss such a good man.
