When Richard taught the Georgia Master Gardener course for the local County Extension Office, I was one of his students. I learned so much in that course and felt fortunate that he taught it at that time. He was an excellent teacher, so knowledgeable, and also made the course fun. I send sincere condolences to his family for their loss. This community and state will both miss such a good man.

I knew Richard & his wife from Publix. The first time I met him, I called him Mr. Smith. He said, my name is Richard. He was always so nice. Thoughts & prayers for his family.
