Columbus, GA- Rickey Snipes 57, of 2802 Dalewood Drive, Columbus, Georgia passed Monday October 28, 2013 at the Midtown Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Rose Hill Chapel of Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 2919 Hamilton Road with Rev. Kerone Trice officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC. Visitation will be today, Friday, November 1, 2013 from 1:00PM-7:00PM with the family receiving friends from 6:00PM-7:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Snipes was born February 17, 1956 in Columbus, Georgia son of Eugene Jackson and the late Zeala Littlejohn. He was educated in the Macon County School System. Rickey was employed by the Muscogee County School District as a Custodian at his beloved Midland Middle School. Cherishing his fond and loving memories is his loving and devoted wife, Angelia Raines Snipes, Columbus, GA; his children, Darrell Thomas, Atlanta, GA, Jamell Seay and Tressa White both of Columbus, GA ; three step children, Xavier, Jaron and Macayles all of Columbus, GA; three grandchildren, Stephen and Camri Thomas and Jakahia Seay; his father, Eugene(Betty)Jackson; brothers, Douglas Littlejohn, NY, NY, Vincent Littlejohn, Pittsburgh, PA, Barron Jackson, Atlanta, GA and Jerome(Ethel) Randolph, Phenix City, AL; sisters, Dorothy Smith, Pittsburg, PA, Alisa(Bernard)Cliatt, Phenix City, AL, Lapina(Floyd)Dixon, Snellville, GA, Noella Littlejohn, Butler , GA, Cheryl Littlejohn, Dawn Littlejohn and Stephanie Littlejohn all of Pittsburg, PA; a loving father in law; Joe(Phyllis)Miller, Harrisburg, PA; mother in Law, Sallie Marshall, Talbotton, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.
