Rev. Bob was one of the most amazing and inspirational people I have ever known. I truly believe that he touched every person that he met. I know for a fact that he touched everyone at First Congregational Christian Church with his unwavering faith and desire to serve the Lord. The Preacher was a blessing to all of us and fully embodied the love that our little church is known for having. I pray that his family can have peace in knowing that he is in Heaven as well as knowing that he lived his life as a true Christian man. I thank the Lord for sending him and his family to us. My prayers and love go out to the Atkins family during such a tough time in their lives.

I had the privilege of knowing Mr. Atkins the last 4 years. He always had a smile on his face and he would do anything in his power to help anybody. I will miss him greatly and I pray for his wife and family.

Rev. Bob Atkins was a true christian man. He lived each and everyday for the Lord and changed many lives. My day was always brighter when I saw Rev. Bob. You could see he had the Lord in his heart. Although he will be missed here on earth, I know the Lord has met him at the gates of heaven saying, "Well done my good and faithful servant."
His family should take great pride in that. There is no greater reward than that.

My heart is broken at the loss of one so dear to us all. He touched me, and he touched my family like no one ever has. There will always be an empty spot that only he could fill. My comfort is that he is no longer suffering. He was truly an unselfish, amazing man. Thank you Eloise, for sharing him with our church family, and for being there with him like no other preacher's wife has ever been. You and your family mean the world to all of us. You are in our thoughts and prayers. All my love, Esperanza
