Smiths Station, Alabama- A prince among men and a great man has fallen this day June 06, 2016.
Ted L. Crenshaw was born Dec. 27, 1954 in Newport, Rhode Island and had made his home in the Phenix City, Smiths Station area for the last 50 plus years Mr. Crenshaw passed away in his home in Smiths, Al, June 06, 2016.
Ted was a boilermaker and metal fabricator holding 12 welding certificates. He was well respected and a valued employee of Morton Machine Works for over 25 years.
He graduated Central High in 1973.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank E Crenshaw and Elizabeth A Craaybeek Crenshaw, grandson Caleb Allen Redmon, son Christopher Dale Hughley, and two brothers, Paul Crenshaw and Petey Crenshaw.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cookie Greer Crenshaw

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
