Thomas Callier Obituary

Thomas Callier July 20, 1938 - January 18, 2004 WAVERLY HALL, GA - Thomas Callier, 65, of Waverly Hall, died Sunday, Jan. 18, at Doctors Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at Flat Rock Baptist Church, Waverly Hall. Burial will follow in Rockola Cemetery in Waverly Hall, according to Hamilton Funeral Home, Hamilton. Visitation is today from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Callier was born July 20, 1938 in Muscogee County, Ga., to the late Daisy and Leroy Callier. He joined Flat Rock Baptist Church where he served faithfully as chairman of the Deacon Board. He retired from Swift Textiles and was a very successful business owner. He was known as Uncle "Pee Wee" . Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Callier; two god daughters, Phyllis (Julius) Alex and Leslie Walton; a brother, Leroy (Ruth) Carter; and a sister, Ruby (Robert) Hollis.
