Columbus, GA- Mr. Tommy Ellis Marshall, Jr. passed away Friday at the age of 51 years.
The beloved son of Mrs. Lucille "Lula" Berry Archie (Ernest) and Mr. Tommy E. Marshall , Sr. (Sarah), all of Columbus, "Lil Tommy", as he was affectionately known, was born in Columbus, Georgia. He attended Carver High School and was a graduate of Hallie Turner High School. He was employed with the Coca Cola Company for over 26 years and was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church. He played for the Columbus Star Football Team.
Survivors, other than his parents, include: his daughter, Sanaa M. Marshall; five brothers, Marc Marshall (Pamela), Marcus Marshall (Joyce), Eric T. Marshall, Jeffrey Van Buren and Victor Archie (Nikki); a sister, Kesia J. VanBuren; the mother of his child, Anissa Mahogany; a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Marshall will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at New Testament Christian Center with Pastor Dr. James Lewis officiating. The interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation is Today, 3 til 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at progressivefuneralhome.com.
