August 24, 1942 - August 26, 2021
Phenix City, Alabama - Mr. W.C. Lewis, 79 of Evergreen, AL passed Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Greenville, AL.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST, Thursday, September 2, 2021 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Dr.James Pirtle, officiating. Interment to follow in Uchee chapel A.M.E Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. EST.
Mr. Lewis was born August 24, 1942 in Seale, AL to the late Robert Lewis and the late Jessie Bell Phillips. He was a member of First Tabernacle Baptist Church and was employed with Dudley Lumber Company for over 52 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Jessie (Samuel) Lyons, Mae Ella (Darryl) Thomas and Ruby Hunter(Arthur Braxton); two sons, Waron (Kimberly) Lewis and Michael Lewis; two sisters, Mary Francis Bellamy and Venia Bellamy; nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; devoted friend, Clyde Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
