William Melton Booker March 25, 1952 - June 13, 2009 PHENIX CITY, AL — William Melton Booker, 57, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009 at his residence. Graveside services will be held 12:00 p.m. EST Monday, June 15, 2009 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Bill Van Dyke officiating, according to Vance Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. EST at the funeral home. Mr. Booker was born March 25, 1952 in Columbus, GA son of the late Emmett Morgan Booker and Margie Marie Kite Booker. He worked as a Store Manager for Dollar Tree.  Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Mike Booker. He is survived by his wife Wendy Kay Booker, four daughters, Andrea Meacham and husband Eric of Phenix City, AL, Jessica Staley, Christine Booker, and Kimberly Booker all of Phenix City, AL, one son, Shaun Booker of Phenix City, AL; eight grandchildren Kamyren, Michelle, Morgan, Sebastian, William, Peyton, Trent and Haley.
