Ann LaPree Obituary

Ann LaPree

Deltona, FL - Ann Jeannette LaPree, 76, of Deltona, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026. She was born on October 14, 1949, at Fort Eustis in Newport News, Virginia.

Ann was a deeply kind and gentle soul who lived her life with quiet grace. A private person by nature, she never sought the spotlight, preferring instead to work behind the scenes and care for others in thoughtful, meaningful ways. Her compassion was steady and sincere, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand, often placing the needs of others before her own. Those who knew her best understood that her love was shown not through grand gestures, but through quiet acts of kindness and unwavering devotion.

Her grandchildren were truly the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She loved them deeply and took great joy in watching them grow. Some of Ann's most peaceful and happiest moments were spent walking the shores of the Canaveral National Seashore, where she found comfort in the sound of the waves and the beauty of the coast she loved so much.

Ann's gentle presence, warm heart, and selfless spirit touched many lives. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her loving nature, and the deep care she showed to her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

She is survived by her beloved spouse, James LaPree; her children, Paul and his wife Pam, and Peter and his wife Michelle; her cherished grandchildren, Garrett, Louden, Morgan, Alex, and Chance; her siblings, Connie Joyce and her partner Dennis, Edith Joyce-Kellogg and her husband William, and David Joyce and his wife Diane; as well as her nieces and nephews, Liz, Ariana, James, and Dallas.
