Elsie Taylor-Eaton Obituary

CHELMSFORD, Mass. - Elsie J. (Mann) Taylor-Eaton, age 91, a longtime resident of Chelmsford died Friday, Apr. 17, 2015 at Emeritus at Meadow Lodge in Chelmsford, Mass. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Taylor who died in 1998 and the late William H. "Bill" Eaton who died in 2014.

She was born in Bradford, Mass. on May 22, 1923, and a daughter of the late Martin F. and Rosie A. (Stephenson) Mann. She received her education in Bradford schools.

Elsie was an active member of the Central Baptist Church in Chelmsford, Mass. and was a member of the Alpine Square Dancers and several New Hampshire Granges.

Prior to her marriage to Richard, she was employed as a baker by Roberts Bakery in Groveland, Mass. She then spent the rest of her life tending to the needs of her home and family, whom she loved dearly, especially her grandchildren.

Elsie enjoyed gardening and loved to spend time with all types of animals, especially her faithful companion Pawsie.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Taylor and his wife, Susan of Milford; her daughter, Ellen (Taylor) Pelletier and her husband, Chris of Lowell, Mass. and four grandchildren, Rachel Taylor, Alex Taylor, Courtney-Amelia Sgro-Miller and Tori-Lynn Pelletier. She was also the mother of the late Thomas C. Taylor who died in 1983 and the sister of the late Edith Sumner.

Visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD, Mass. on Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 o'clock a.m. at the Central Baptist Church, 9 Academy Street, Chelmsford, Mass. 01824. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment in Greenvale Cemetery in Greenfield will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elsie's name to the Central Baptist Church Memorial Fund. Funeral Director, Paul A.
