James Quinn Obituary
Temple, NH - James William Quinn passed away June 26th, 2025, at his residence in Temple, NH, surrounded by family. Born December 15, 1946, Jim was the second son of Albert A. and Ruth E. Quinn of Temple.
After graduating from Temple Elementary School, he attended high school at the former Peterborough Consolidated School, graduating in the class of 1964. He attended trade school in Manchester, NH prior to enlisting in the US Navy where he trained as a gunner's mate. During his naval service, he served aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Saratoga and later, aboard the destroyer, USS Stickell. His sea duty included tours in the Mediterranean Sea and the Gulf of Tonkin.
During his career, Jim was employed in manufacturing at the former Electropac in Peterborough, NH and later retired from Hendrix wire and cable in Milford, NH. Jim was also a skilled tradesman, with particular expertise in finish carpentry. He was a former member of the Temple Volunteer Fire Department.
Jim lived his life surrounded by a loving family and friends and lived each day to the fullest. He will be missed.
A private family funeral service is scheduled to take place on July 23rd, 2025, at Miller Cemetery in Temple, NH, starting at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Michaud Funeral Home in Wilton, NH is in charge of arrangements.
