James Seppala Obituary

James A. 'Jimmy' Seppala, 56, of Rindge, New Hampshire died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, March 9, 2013. He died how he lived, "Hammer down, hair straight back", and went to be with Jesus.

Jimmy was born on June 14, 1956 in Winchendon, Massachusetts. He is the son of Edwin and Mary Ann (Haapaoja) Seppala.

Jimmy grew up in Rindge, his roots ran deep. He attended Rindge Memorial and Conant High School. He was not a veteran, but was considered a true patriot and proudly displayed his American flag. He was co-owner with his brother Cal, of Ji-Cal Masonry, Inc. for 29 years.

Jimmy had a heart of compassion, always encouraging, and always uplifting others. God blessed him with the gift of playing the guitar. His love for hymns and songs of Zion blessed, comforted, inspired and encouraged countless souls.

He is survived by his wife that he adored, Margaret "Peggy" (Wiinikka) Seppala. They were married for 38 years, 4 months, 1 week, and 5 days. His children; Son, Richard with Toini Seppala of Fitzwilliam, NH, daughter, Naomi with Isaac Jussila of Rindge, NH, Son, Randy with Heather of Ashby, MA, daughter, Shanna with Roy Pyhala of Greer, SC, Son, Gregory with Emily of Rindge, NH, Son, Grant with Jessica of Rindge, NH, daughter, Brianna Seppala of Rindge, NH, Son, Jamen Seppala of Rindge, NH, daughter, Sara with fiancé Jerome Muhonen of Rindge, NH, sons Josiah, and Uriah of Rindge, NH, his brothers and sisters, Mike and wife Kathy Seppala of Rindge, NH, Ann and husband Jack Matson of Yacolt, WA, Susan and husband Lyle Stenersen of Rindge, NH, Paul and wife Sharon Seppala of Rindge, NH, Darlene and husband Jon West of Rindge, NH, Calvin and wife Brenda Seppala of Rindge, NH, Peter and wife Mary Lynn Seppala of Rindge, NH, Timmy and wife Pam Seppala of Battle Ground, WA, Carla and husband Chet Olin of La Center, WA, Jennie and husband Adam Aho of Rindge, NH., mother in law, Marge Hilman of Vancouver, WA, 19 Grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He will be greatly missed by all.

He was predeceased by his brothers Ralph Seppala in 1963, and Philip Seppala in 1969.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Apostolic Lutheran Church, 117 Goen Road, New Ipswich, NH 03071.

The funeral service for Jimmy will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2013 at the Apostolic Lutheran Church. All are invited to attend. Burial will take place in the spring at Hillside Cemetery.
