Kim N. Hutchinson

Troy, NH - Kim N. Hutchinson, 72, resident of Troy, NH, former longtime resident of Wilton, NH, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, surrounded by his family after period of declining health.

He was born on October 30, 1952, in Nashua, NH, a son of the late Paul and Sheila (Stanton) Hutchinson.

Kim was raised and educated in Milford and graduated from Milford High School class of 1970. He would later attend UNH and graduated with a bachelor's degree Cum Laude in Civil Engineering in 1977.

For those that knew him, Kim was often described as one of a kind. He was always good for a sarcastic joke and source of knowledge. Kim was a long-time employee of Hitchner Manufacturing Co where he was a Sr. Project Engineer. Kim's passion was working on his home, as he was an accomplished woodworking craftsman. He also found joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, camping and sailing on the Coast of Maine, spoiling his dogs with treats, restoring his vintage Volvo and BMW cars, and enjoying the woods of his property in Troy.

In addition to his parents, Kim was predeceased by his sister and brother.

Survivors include his loving wife, Gretchen Hutchinson of Troy, NH, his son and daughter-in-law, Erik and Alexandria Hutchinson of Franklin, MA, his daughter, Erin Jadis of Troy, NH, his four grandchildren; Ella, Brodie, Conor and Ross. Also, his siblings, Stephanie Rockwell, Craig Hutchinson and Lisa and Tim Hardy and many nieces, nephews and friends.

SERVICES: In accordance with Kim's wishes there will be no formal services held. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
