Laurie Charleston Obituary
Laurie grew up and attended schools in Athol. She obtained her degree from North Adams State College in Massachusetts and was an English Lit teacher at Mascenic Regional High School for many years. Laurie loved York Beach and quilting.
In addition to her father, Laurie is survived by her loving husband of sixteen years, George R. Charleston of Peterborough, her son Dolton Charleston of Peterborough and her two brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Laurie's name to Monadnock conservancy at www.monadnockconservancy.org

Laurie was a bright and shining light in my life for the time that I knew her. We met in York Beach and we imediatly connected. We could make each other laugh all day. I can honestly say that she made me a better person in the time we knew each other. I'm sad to lose my friend and sad that she is no longer in this world. The world was a better place when she was here.
Always will love you laurie and will keep a special place in my heart for you.
