Castle Rock, WA - Linda A. (Thibault) Hamelin, 70, was called to her heavenly home on November 20, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was born on October 13, 1951 to parents Robert and Louise (Linna) Thibault of Ashby, MA. She attended Ashby schools graduating from Ashby High in 1969.

Linda lived in New Ipswich, NH for several years before moving to Vancouver, WA in 1991 where she was a member of the Lighthouse Church for many years. In 2007 Linda and her husband Joe moved to Kauai, HI and returned to Washington in 2018 for retirement and had a home built in Castle Rock.

Linda loved God and witnessed often. She treasured her friends and family. She enjoyed reading, traveling, archery, learning about different cultures especially her Finnish heritage. She was a master scrabble player and an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She enjoyed gardening and created beautiful flower gardens. She was an amazing woman that will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Hamelin of Castle Rock, WA; daughter, Amy Belanger (Michel Labonte) of Jaffrey, NH; sons Matthew Belanger and Benjamin Belanger of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Rebecca, Sarah, Eric, Griffin and Connor; great-grandchildren Baylie and Grant; sister Becky (EdGardo) Lopez; brothers Thomas Thibault and Christopher Thibault; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sarah Belanger and brothers Robert, Brian and James Thibault. In addition to family Linda had many friends and extended family in New England.

Memorial services will be held Saturday January 22, 2022 at 11am at the Lighthouse Church 7808 NE 94th Ave. Vancouver, WA. All are welcome.
