Mary-Lu Esposito Obituary
Rindge, NH - Mary Lucy (Rose) Esposito, 71, of Rindge, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary-Lu' was born November 6, 1953 in Bridgeport, CT, the daughter of the late William A and Elsie (Wilkinson) Rose.
Mary-Lu' graduated from Milford High School in 1971, then went on to Keene State College, earning a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She then earned a Masters of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School. She worked in Behavior Health at Southern NH Medical Center for 30 years and then finished her career as a minister in the United Church of Christ.
Mary-Lu' will be dearly missed by her husband of 53 years, William "Bill" Esposito, and their two children, Jennifer Spingola (Chris) of Rindge, NH, and Katie Esposito of Holyoke, MA. Mary-Lu' treasured and will be missed by her two granddaughters Teresa and Sophia, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives. Mary-Lu' was preceded in death by her son William "Billy" Esposito and her parents. She was known as Auntie Lu-Lu by her nieces and nephews.
Mary-Lu' was a kind and generous soul, always there to lend a hand. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and spent countless hours teaching children at the United Church of Jaffrey, where she was a member for 30 years. Mary-Lu' loved to garden, knit, bowl, play board games, and go shopping with family and friends. One of her favorite things was to be on the sidelines cheering on her granddaughters and their teammates in many sports. She will be fondly remembered as the Hockey and Softball Grammie.
Calling hours will be held at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River St, Jaffrey, NH on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A brief prayer service will conclude the evening.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the United Church of Jaffrey, 54 Main St, Jaffrey, NH on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:00 am with reception to follow at the Mildred Cutter Memorial Hall.
