Nancy Johnstone Obituary

PETERBOROUGH - Nancy Lorena Johnstone, 72, of Peterborough died Thursday, Oct.25, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born in Goffstown on June 23, 1940, the daughter of Morton and Estella Muncil.
For several years Nancy owned and operated a beauty salon in Greenville. She later sold that business and in 1988 started working for Ray Wakefield at Gentleman's Choice barber shop in Peterborough. In 2004 Nancy purchased the business and worked there until she became ill. Nancy retained ownership, having her two granddaughters, Lorena Druin and Samantha Fisk, operate the business. For the time being, business will go on as usual.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Malcolm Johnstone, of Peterborough; her sisters, Dorothy Lorette of Saranac Lake, N.Y., JoAnne Leclair, of Jaffrey and Marie Reeves of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and her brothers, Frederick Muncil of Marlborough and Morton Muncil of Marlborough.
Nancy was predeceased by her mother, Estella Lorena Muncil, her father, Morton Harold Muncil, and her brother, Michael Allen Muncil.
Nancy has three children, Daniel Ellis, of Warner and his wife, Alissa, and their five children; Amber Fisk of Temple and her husband, Wendall, and their three children; and Debra Druin of Greenfield and her two children.
Nancy has 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She has several nieces and nephews and one cousin.
The cremation center in Bow is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial service will be held for Nancy at All Saints Episcopal Church in Peterborough on Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. All are welcome.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The American Lung Association.
