Norma Hobson Obituary
Norma grew up in Winchester, N.H. and graduated from Thayer High School in 1947. She lived in Keene for a time before moving to Peterborough 48 years ago. While in Peterborough, she worked as a typesetter for Peterborough Transcript for over 30 years. Norma loved going out to eat, visiting the beach, The Statler Brothers, Lawrence Welk and adored her dog "Cheety" who was a gift from her son.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Michele Hobson of Peterborough and her son, Jeff Hobson of Stonington, Maine; her siblings, William Russell of Winchester; Audrey Herman of Ashuelot; Nancy Paquette of Ocala, Fla. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She is predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Stuart "Frank" Hobson who died 1993.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Norma's name to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Heights, N.Y. 10598.
