Patsy Crowley Obituary

ANTRIM - Patsy Crowley died peacefully on Feb. 17, 2014, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. She spent her last days comforted by her closest, dear and loyal friend, Theresa Brissette Kimball. Patsy lived most of her life in Peterborough and had many, many friends in the area.

She is predeceased by her parents, Cynthia Shea and George Crowley and her Nana and Papa, Kitty and Sterling Crowley. Patsy is survived by her sister Ellen Demers of Wallingford, Vt. and her brother Edward Crowley and his wife, Sabrina, of Heber City, Utah. She also leaves behind her Uncle Richard Shea and Uncle Danny Crowley as well as other loving Crowley Uncles, Aunt and Cousins.

She attended St. Bernard's Catholic High School in Fitchburg, Mass., and graduated in 1987. Growing up in Peterborough, she loved to ski with friends and family ,she skied regularly and worked at Temple Mountain Ski Area. She was also a Member of the Peterborough Swim Team.

Patsy truly loved helping people and made a career of being a caregiver. She worked many years at Crotched Mountain Rehab Center taking care of the residents there. In later years, Patsy had close friends who gave back and cared for her. Patsy loved her treks up to Vermont to visit her sister Ellen and brother-in-law Joe who also recently passed away. She took great joy in spending time with her roommate Angela Elliott and especially Angela's children, Alida and Amaya. In her last week of life, she celebrated her 46th birthday and was surrounded by close friends. Patsy's joyous spirit, gentle soul and beautiful smile will be missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 21 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough. A memorial service will be held immediately following visiting hours at 6 p.m. The family invites Patsy's friends to a reception afterward to celebrate her life at Monadnock Country Club. If friends and family wish to make a contribution in Patsy's name, donations may be made to the Town of Antrim Ambulance and Fire Department, PO Box 517, Antrim, NH 03440. Ellen, Ed, & family,
Please accept our sympathy. We have many great memories of Patsy at family get-togethers, cookouts, and holidays. We will always remember her and her warm smile. Rest in Peace Patsy.
