Susan Seigel Obituary
Susan was raised in Newark and attended Weequahic High School. She went on to attend college, earning her BA in education, at Trenton State College in New Jersey. Susan spent the next several decades committed to education. She taught elementary school for several years before transitioning to teaching French and Spanish language labs at ConVal High School. Susan served on countless non-profit boards over the years and she helped organize and run the ConVal Ice Hockey team. Above all, Susan was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her husband of more than 50 years, Dr. Charles Seigel of Peterborough, she is survived by her sons, Gregory Seigel and his wife, K.C., of Norristown, Pennsylvania and Brian Seigel and his wife, Lauren, of Downingtown, Pennsylvania. She also leaves her four loving grandchildren: Troy, Sydney, Charlotte and Owen.
A graveside service for family and close friends will be held on Friday September 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery, Peterborough. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Susan's name to The NH Alzheimer's Association, 166 S. River Road #210, Bedford, NH 03110.

My deepest condolences to you Dr. Seigel and your entire family. I know the pain of losing someone so dear. I have some sweet memories of Sue, esp. when I sold her that special RED Saab. I remember the look on her face and the big hug. May the sweet memories sustain you. God's Peace.

I was just made aware of Susan's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Even though it has been many years since I lived in Peterborough, I remember her fondly. I understand the heartbreak of losing a spouse. It was fifteen years ago this past May that Paul passed away. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
