Therese St. Pierre Obituary

Therese M. St. Pierre

Greenville, NH - Therese Marie (Gamache) St Pierre, 94, the matriarch of the St. Pierre family, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, after a long illness.

Therese was born on April 19, 1931, in Winchendon Springs, MA, a daughter of the late Jean Baptiste and Yvonne (Deschenes) Gamache. She spent the first few years of her life there before moving to Greenville, NH as a child and lived there for the rest of her life. She was a lifelong Communicant of Sacred Heart Parish in Greenville.

Therese married Raymond St. Pierre on July 1, 1950, in Greenville. Therese and Raymond were longtime members of the American Legion Post 13 during its heyday and were involved in all Legion activities. She was a member of the Post 13 Legion Auxiliary and Raymond was a member of the legion firing squad. Together they represented New Hampshire travelling to conventions all over the United States. She was well loved for her themed family nights - pie night, Italian night etc. but above all, she was known for her Christmas Eve parties featuring hundreds of grab bags and a dozen homemade chocolate yule logs made with her secret cream recipe. No one who helped her make the cream was ever allowed to know the whole recipe.

Her home was always a full house and was always the place where her children and their friends congregated. Everyone who knew her knew that Saturday night was spaghetti night, and everyone was welcome to stop by for some. She was the ringleader of all shenanigans.

Therese was predeceased by her husband Raymond and her granddaughter Corinne.

Survivors include her "Party Posse" of 4 children, Susan St. Pierre- Comeau and her husband Paul, Anne Smith and her husband James, Albert St. Pierre and his wife Mary, and Jean St. Pierre and his wife Carol, as well as her four grandchildren, Raymond Comeau, Jessica Comeau, Zachary (Lauren) St. Pierre and Jonathan (Lauren) Mahoney and her great granddaughter Tia St. Pierre.

Therese will be remembered in a private service and burial, and she will be prayed for in Masses at Sacred Heart Church.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Attn: Planned Giving, 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
