I'm shocked to learn of Ernie's passing, having searched for him through social media hoping to reconnect. I met Ernie on AOL in the 90's and we hit it off immediately. I admired his hilarious sense of humor and his optimism. I traveled to Lake Charles once to help him grow his business. It happened to be during Martigra and we had a blast. I regret that we lost touch. Keeping him in my thoughts and prayers.

Ernie and I met at a golf tournament in Alexandria where is was living. My dad and he had great conversations about the game of golf. We dated long distance for awhile and then left as friends. He will always be one of my true friends.

I was stationed in Meridian, MS with Ernie after boot camp in San Diego. He loved golf, and was an accomplished golfer; always fun. RIP Ernie... Bill Brothers

Ernie was nice guy who love to joke around. He tried to teach me golf when we both worked at McNeese but I did practice enough to become as good as he was. Just hearing about his passing but my prayers go out his family and friends.
