Lindauer

William R. "Wil" Lindauer Jr., 59, of Pottstown passed away Friday, Dec. 23 at Phoenixville Hospital of natural causes.
Wil was born in Pottstown, the son of William R. Lindauer Sr., of St. Petersburg, Fla. and the late Frances (Milles) Lindauer.
Wil graduated from Pottstown High School in 1975 and attended West Chester University.
Wil was formerly employed by AT&T, formerly Bell Telephone, for over 20 years and Sears for 15 years at the Coventry Mall and Phoenixville Sears Hardware.
Wil was a member of the Pottstown German Club and the Gilbertsville Fire Co., where he formerly volunteered in the social quarters. He lived a few years in Key West, Fla. and really enjoyed foreign automobiles.
Wil is survived by his father and cousins, Randall Slaymaker and wife Kathy, Thomas Slaymaker and wife Jill, and Kathy Wausnock.
Also, his aunt, Nancy Slaymaker, widow of James W. Slaymaker. Wil is predeceased by his sister, Sandra Milles and cousin, Karen Hartenstine.
Wil is going to be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
A celebration of Wil's life will be held on Friday, Dec. 30 from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Pottstown German Club, 52 Reynolds Ave., Pottstown, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his sister Sandra's memory to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Laureldale, PA 19605 and the Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
