Linda Willey-Dobbins Obituary
Her heroic fight was an inspiration as she fought to welcome the birth of her beautiful granddaughter, Alexa Lynn. Linda was able to meet Alexa just before leaving this world.
She was born in Cullman, Ala., and was a lifetime resident of Akron.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alphus Derrick, and husband, Wesley E. Dobbins. She is survived by her mother, Susie Derrick; children, David (Kim) Willey, Wes (Carrie) Dobbins, Melanie (William) Edwards, and Scot Dobbins; brothers, Garry Derrick, Basel (Kathy) Derrick, and Romilda (Vernie) Hammond; grandchildren, Tayler, Heather, Alexa, Owen, Hailee, Olivia, Ashley, Brittany, Sarah, Jakub, Daniel, Miranda, and Emily; great-grandson, Jakson.
Calling hours will be Sunday, 2 to 6 p.m., at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Don Davies officiating. We miss you so much. I will never be able to get you off of my mind. We talk about you all the time and Tayler asks about you almost daily- and that "Header" says "Dranny" just as Tayler did. And Alexa is just as beautiful as the other 2 and she is going to be fine! We love you!!
