My Big Brother from another mother, same father. I really valued every moment and time together on this planet called earth. To speak to you the evening before means the world to me. Im glad though you are at peace. I heard it in your voice. You leaving, leaves me little people to turn to and discuss the beauty and continued strive of brotherhood, fellowship and Leadership you brought me with Iota. Built for Iota...and continue building for Iota. I have came back as you and I discussed..the next day. The build shall continue. I will always recognize and yell your name ..in whom taught me. Your soul and love is truly genuine. Something very, very, very rare to find. I appreciate all your love, guidance, empathy, compassion, genuine authentic unwavering friendship and brotherhood. We made "X-Owt" as a further bond like brother Sooloman with Pleasure and Pain...and now your Owt. It hurts. Im so thankful to see our friendship blossom from a apartment neighbor on the lake to a everlasting true friend.. when regardless the circumstances others put us through..or life put us through..you never wavered. Never not there for a brother. I love and miss you everyday. I will progress and enjoy every shared personal conversation of compassion for each other we shared in moments of pain and joy. I will never forget the expression and words when I shocked you and rolled up on you at that hospital. And the feeling I could feel from your soul feeling relief that I showed up and you knew...nothing changed brother. I will always be here..anwhere and everywhere for you. Enjoy the bliss...I was there for a moment. I know whats happening. Bliss..only way to describe it.Im with you always as I feel you with me.

I first met Aaron in 1990 at The University of Akron. In 1992, our bond deepened when I became a member of Iota Sweethearts, the auxiliary organization to Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. The connection between the Sweethearts and the Brothers formed a lasting and irreplaceable brotherhood and sisterhood.
During my early college years, I spent several days each week at Aaron´s home-a place that became a second home to many of us. Like true siblings, my best friend Sonia (also a Sweetheart ..RIP) and I would often "borrow" his car for late-night store runs or joy rides after parties-though I´m not sure he ever knew until now. We shared endless laughter and countless unforgettable memories.
Over the years, we remained in close contact. I vividly remember his joy when his son was born and later, the pride he felt being a devoted girl dad. Our children even attended the same high school, further strengthening our connection.
Most recently, Aaron shared with me the love of his life, Natalie. I recall the day he told me about her-he was overjoyed, confident that he had found "the one." He couldn´t wait to marry her and begin the next chapter of his life.
When Aaron fell ill, I had the honor of walking that journey with him. Just weeks ago, he was filled with hope as he awaited a new heart. We exchanged memories and photos, and our last conversation was filled with positivity and reflection.
I am grateful that our final exchange was one of light and love. It is a moment I will always hold close. Rest in peace, my dear brother. You will be deeply missed Say hi to Sonia for me.
