Our Neighbor-Our Friend

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your caring face.

He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.

He knew that you would not want to linger
He knew that you embraced every day to live life to its fullest.

He saw your path ahead was difficult- as he closed your loving eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly.

When we see you sleeping so peaceful and complete,
We would not wish you back to earth only to face the strain ahead.

You've left family and friends precious memories, your love will be our guide,
You live on in our hearts, you're always by our side.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home

******
Our lives have been so blessed to have been your neighbor and friend. You gave a new meaning to “the perfect neighbor”-forever there to help when help was needed and always genuine caring.
We will forever miss those afternoon visits with you and Edith on your deck. The laughs, the wisdom and yes, the sharing of your love for your children and grands. What a legacy you’ve left them-to know that you loved them unconditionally and how proud you were of each of them.
A Friend and Neighbor For All Eternity,
