Abigail (Abby) Winters Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 18, 2016.
Abby loved all things that inspired her creativity- music, dance, art, and jewelry making all found new expression at her hands. Abby found purpose in her life by helping those less fortunate than she was- that desire to help ultimately cost her her life. She loved her family, especially her son, Brody. He was always in her heart and on her mind. Abby was the sunshine in our lives- her smile could light up a room and lift the spirits of anyone lucky enough to see it. Her life was like a rainbow- that elusive, complicated combination of sunshine and storm- so beautiful to see, so fleeting too soon. Abby is preceded in death by her father, Chris; step sister, Anastasha.

Abby, words can not describe the pain I am feeling right now, with you gone. I remember in High School, we used to have so much fun together. Your smile would make anybody melt. Then for us to run into each other last month, after not seeing each other for 23 years, is amazing to me. You brought back so many wild and crazy memories of when we were kids. I truly felt 16 years old again, laughing and telling stories about growing up together. When we talked on my birthday, two weeks ago, I never would have thought, it would be the last time. Especially after just reuniting and making so many plans together. Abby, I am at such a loss for words right now. I dont know which way is up or down. My life and so many others, will never be the same and I will ALWAYS remember you Abby.

Just want to say that Abby was a beautiful unique lady and I was privileged to have the pleasure to know her and work with her. It breaks my heart to hear of these circumstances that has taken her beautiful life. After every storm there is sunlight thought hers will last for eternity, so will her impact on my life.

Abby, I keep thinking of the childhood we spent together. A free childhood. No helmets no shoes no chaparones. It was the best kind of childhood. We played at the creek. We rode bikes and swam all day long. I was so jealous of your ur Amazon ng sticker collection of rainbows and butterflies and unicorns. I still love them to this day. I will always remember our childhood spent together.
