Abimbola Samson Gbadegesin Bolarinwa was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He left this world on Saturday 15th of January, 2022. He was born into the family of Chief Emmanuel Akanni Ajose Bolarinwa and Princess Comfort Oyeronke Bolarinwa in Jagun’s Compound - Eduanbon (Ife North), Osun State, Nigeria. He is the first son, and second child of 11 siblings.
He migrated to the United States in 1973, and graduated from The University of Toledo with a degree in Property Management and Real Estate Administration in 1978.
Abimbola can be described as a highly disciplined individual that is compassionate with others; and treats people with the same level of kindness he would like to receive. He was audaciously bold! - he usually says “What will be, will be”. His daring attitude made him push forward in life rather than worry about what might happen. He disliked cheating and injustice, as he would stand against it at any given opportunity. Overall, his persona has contributed to him making a positive impact in many people's lives, and he will always be remembered for those good deeds.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Abimbola. He loved a quiet evening with family while debating current news topics or historical events.
His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met. Abimbola is survived by his beautiful wife, Olayinka Bolarinwa. He was a proud Papa to three daughters: Ebony E. Jones, Jibola Jinadu, and Anuoluwapo Bolarinwa. And a Grandfather to his grandson, Nasir Adedeji Clinkscale. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by his loved ones.

It is very hard to believe that you have gone. But who are we, ordinary mortals to query God
Your death is a reminder to us all that each of us will leave at God's appointed time.

My dear uncle Bimbo as I normally call you. The moment I met you in London, you started treating me like your own sister as if you had known me for long . You were such a loving person, selfless, kind to a fault and always ready to sacrifice all that it takes to put a smile on people's faces. It's sad to know that you are gone but I believe you are in a better place resting in the bosom of God.
Continue to rest in peace till we meet to part no more.
God will uphold you sister Taiwo and the family forever in Jesus name

My darling Uncle Bimbola
Your death came as a rude shock.
No one is expecting this not even in the next 20 years.
But the all knowing God knows all.
The unquestionable God, no one can question.
I remember how we met for the first time close to 20 years ago.
I remember I visited you and Ebony at the GRA Ogudu several times before you went back to the US.
You were so nice, you made me feel as if we'd known each other all our lives.
Why God chose to call you back home is known to Him.
And we thank Him for giving you to us as a precious gift.
I pray the Lord comfort your dearest wife who is my big sister and your girls.
May He give them His beauty for their ashes.
Oil of joy for their mourning and His garment of praise for their spirit of heaviness.
Oh Lord, grant Uncle Bimbola eternal rest in Your bosom and let Your light perpetual shine on Him IJMN.
Till we meet again at the feet of Jesus, I say Goodnight.

Brother, you were a man who would call a spade as such without fear or favour. Your desire to honestly serve your own people selflessly had not been fully realised in your life time. As I usually say, I believe in eternal continuum. Continue to rest in peace.

Uncle Bims,we connected the very day I was handed over to you as a new bride in Odukoya's family. How can I ever forget the beautiful memories we created during our visit to New York few years back.
The wedding Anniversary Dinner you organised for us, a memorable Xmas holiday we can never forget in a hurry.
I am so heartbroken right now my dear uncle, a nice man who can give all of himself to make you comfortable and happy.
I have taken solace in God that you're in a better place.
Rip Uncle Abimbola....Good night great soldier of Christ.

What a personality Uncle B was.
Its still hard to believe you're gone. I knew you right from when I was little and although I spent little time with you when I was grown, those few moments proved to be some of the most exciting of my life.
There was truly never a dull moment with you as you had a unique sense of humour. I will miss you Uncle B and so will all of us.
Rest in perfect peace my dear Uncle.
